I was excited to work with Louise on what I felt was a great project. She had captured a series of still images after gaining permission to explore the storerooms of the natural history collection at Musee La Specola, in Florence, Italy. Her idea was to give subtle, uncanny life to these stills for gallery exhibition. I was happy to oblige.

In the end, we produced three video animations and developed a looping system for viewing them on digital screens hung as gallery portraits.
